2023 Season (Freshman):

  • Named to the MCCAA All-Academic and MCCAA Academic All-Conference Teams
  • Helped team to a 7-15 overall record in the first season of the volleyball program at Montcalm Community College in over 40 years
  • Named to the Montcalm Community College Honors List for the Fall 2023 semester
  • Played in all 22 matches and 70 of the teams 74 sets
  • Ranked 2nd on the team in service aces with 16
  • Ranked 3rd on the team in kills with 122
  • 3rd in kills per set with 1.74
  • 4th on team in blocks with 22
  • Picked up 55 digs

What is a little known fact about yourself?: I have played every position in volleyball besides libero.

List any interesting, non-athletic hobbies, talents or unusual facts about yourself that could be useful in a feature story:: Hanging out with friends, swimming, shopping, and sleeping.

Any other personal tidbits that people would find interesting about your life that would make a good feature story or human interest story (i.e. overcoming a personal or family tragedy, a handicap, etc.)?: I had back surgery when I was 13.

Who is your personal hero/idol and why?: My mom is my idol because of how hard she worked to get to where she is in her career as well as raising a family while doing it.

Why did you choose Montcalm Community College?: I choose Montcalm Community College because it gave me the chance to receive a cheaper education while also playing volleyball.

What do you like most about Montcalm Community College?: I like how small and supportive the community is, it reminds me a lot of home.

What do you like most about your sports team/coach at Montcalm Community College?: I like how Coach Youngs pushes us to be the best we can be, and is super supportive when it comes to our athletic and academic careers.
