Bio

Karly was a versatile athlete at Tri County High School, competing in cross country and track while also studying Taekwondo. On the track, she was primarily a distance specialist and a key contributor to the Vikings' 4x800-meter relay team, while occasionally showcasing her range in sprint events. Individually, Karly excelled in the 1,600-meters, securing three top-five finishes during her senior season.

After joining the cross country team for her final year of high school, Karly brought a PR of 24:38 to MCC. She has already shown significant growth as a Centurion, surpassing that mark three times during her freshman campaign. An Academic All-Conference athlete in high school, Karly prides herself on the mental and physical discipline required to overcome the hurdles of competitive running.

Karly’s transition to MCC was seamless after she enjoyed the campus environment during her time as a dual-enrollment student. She is currently pursuing a degree in criminal justice.
