Bio
Nicole was a standout dual-sport athlete at Ithaca High School, excelling in both golf and bowling. On the course, she was a two-time Second Team All-Conference selection and played an instrumental role in leading her team to a runner-up regional finish, securing their first state finals appearance in 13 years. Despite a significant shoulder injury during her junior year, Nicole demonstrated remarkable resilience as a senior, bouncing back to qualify for the state finals both individually and with her bowling team. While she is highly confident in her spare game, she admits the tricky 10-pin remains her greatest challenge on the lanes.
Nicole chose MCC because it perfectly aligned with her career ambitions; she is majoring in agricultural operations through the Michigan State University Institute of Agricultural Technology program. After learning about the bowling program and touring the campus, she immediately felt at home. Nicole is grateful for the opportunity to receive a high-quality education while maintaining the flexibility to commute from home. She has found an immediate kinship with her teammates, which has made her collegiate athletic experience all the more rewarding.
