Bio

Hunter was a versatile four-sport standout at Carson City-Crystal High School. While he now stars for the clay target team at MCC, his high school career was marked by elite performances in football, track, and wrestling. A First-Team All-Conference athlete in football and track, Hunter rushed for over 1,200 yards as a senior running back and was a conference champion in the 400 meters. He also earned Second-Team All-Conference honors in wrestling. Hunter credits much of his success to his mental discipline — his ability to "lock in" and ensure his focus remains unaffected by outside thoughts or pressure.

Hunter chose MCC to continue his athletic career while staying close to home and receiving a cost-effective education. He appreciates the supportive environment at MCC, particularly how the team structure allows him to balance his sport with his academic commitments. Hunter is pursuing a degree in exercise science.
