Clay Target Ties Trap Program Record
The clay target team finished another week of recording scores for both Trap and Skeet. They shot out of their home club, Flat River Conservation Club.
The trap team finished the week tying their previous program record of 231. Evan Plonka led the team with a near perfect score of 49 points, shooting 25 straight in round one and 24 in round two. Jacket McBride shot a 48 score shooting 24 in both round one and round two. Azariah Trumble finished third on the team with a total score of 47 points, shooting his first 25 straight in the second round! Chase Merritt followed with a total score of 44 points and Drake Syrjala finished with 43.
The skeet team finished with a team score of 197 of 250 targets. Sophomore Drake Syrjala led the team with 46 targets. Evan Plonka and Azariah Trumble finished with 39 targets each. Chase Merritt shot 37 total and Jack McBride shot a total of 36 targets for the team.
The Centurions return next week tor record their scores for their fourth week of competition. The team are currently standing at 2nd place within their set conference out of ten teams!
